Pesto Palmiers Recipe Perfect for parties and entertaining
These are so easy to make fabulous for entertaining or pre dinner nibble. On their own or accompanied with a cheese platter.
This is for one sheet of pastry which will give you 15-18 palmiers. So you can double, tripple this to your preferances.
Pesto Palmiers
Ingredients
1 sheet of frozen puff pastry
2 tablespoons of Pesto (red or green)
2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese grated
Method
- Preheat oven to 220c fan forced.
- Line an oven tray with baking paper.
- Spread the two tablespoons of pesto evenly over one side of the pastry going all the way to the edges.
- Sprinkle evenly the parmesan all over.
- Roll small and tightly one side into the middle and the Roll the other side in to meet in the middle.
- Wrap the pastry sheet back in the backing plastic and pop flat in the freezer for five mins to firm up.
- Take out of freezer and slice evenly at 1/2inch slices.
- Lay out on baking tray and give a spray with oil
- Bake for approx. 25 mins till golden and pastry is cooked.
