Gluten Free Weet-Bix Review and Recipes

Gluten Free Weet-Bix Review and Giveaway

Yes that’s right you can now have that Aussie tradition of Weet-Bix totally Gluten Free!

Weet-Bix that is Gluten Free, Crazy?!

Made with a grain called Sorghum that is naturally gluten free this new release product from Sanitarium i think is going to be a winner and people will be reminiscently surprised how similar it tastes.

It looks like Weet-Bix, it tastes like Weet-Bix only its better than normal Weet-Bix!

Better?  Yes well we think so. It holds its crisp a bit better when drowned in milk and when used in cooking. It also doesnt make us feel gluggy but we still feel full!

Endorsed by the Coeliac Society and it also has a 4.5 Star Health Rating its certainly worth taking a look.

I found them in the health food section of the supermarket not the cereal section so if you can't see them try there.

Now the fabulous people at Sanitarium have given us FIVE Gluten Free Weet-Bix Hampers to giveaway!

We'd love for you to try them too!

For your chance to win 1 of 5 Hampers valued at $40 each, all you have to do is leave a comment telling us:

My gluten intolerant auntie was so excited when these came out, as much to be able to make this slice as to eat for breakfast!! My brekky at the moment is apple, oats, almonds and chia seeds topped with yoghurt, but my boys are all about the weetbix. My 11 month old eats as many as my four year old, and they are working their way up to match their Dad!!

A breakfast full of peace and harmony
Happy smiles not one of catastrophe
Children asking “Will you pass me the toast”
Instead of “It’s mine, I want that one the most”.

Cordial conversation, no milk spills
Quietly sipping tea with a magazine to fulfil
My happy thoughts of a nice day ahead
But chaos reigns, breakfast can be full of dread

Overexcited, noisy Mr 9
Swinging on the chairs and combine
Cheeky Miss 2 who loves to throw down her food
Inevitably Miss 5 slips in it, and I’m in a bad mood

Weetbix quickly consumed, clean up the mess
Change Miss 5 into clothes unpressed
While this unfolds my husbands away
In Fairyland, dreaming of a quiet breakfast some day

Being recently made aware that I need to eat gluten and dairy free I've come to discover and LOVE Gluten Free Weet-Bix.

My favourite breaky to make is Gluten Free Weet-Bix crumbled and mixed with pepitas. I mix this with coconut & almond milk and warm it up till its absorbed and looks smooth and yummy. Then I add a dribble of honey and a sprinkle of chia seeds. Super yummy and I crave it everyday!

In our family our normal breakfast is very quick- either weetbix, oats or toast. But my favourite breakfast is pancakes with fresh blueberries and Icecream (cooked by someone else). Yummo!

Weet bix I love, brekkie a with my niece I love. Unfortunately she is cealiac and has never experienced brekkie like her favourite Aunty Nic. It would mean the world to us both to have an aussie kids Allie friendly brekkie together.
