Make your own Tabbouleh
Love this fresh and tasty Lebanese salad, its a great side dish with Chicken or with a BBQ.
This is a great way to use your fresh garden herbs.
Tabbouleh
Ingredients
1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
1 handful mint leaves
2 lemons
2 tbsp fine burghul
4 tomatoes
4 shallots, finely chopped
salt and pepper
olive oil
Method
Juice the lemons and pour over the burghul, leave it to soften the burghul whilst you prepare the rest.
De seed and dice the tomatoes
Chop up the parsley and mint
Finely chop shallots
Place all ingredients in large bowl
Add salt and pepper and olive oil combine well
