Slow Cooked Teriyaki Chicken is a perfect hassle free meal for the whole family

Slow Cooked Teriyaki Chicken Crockpot Recipe

I love my slow cooker, its so easy to throw everything in and get on with my day. Its perfect for when you have guests coming and not sure how many people or how much they will eat!

Slow Cooked Teriyaki Chicken


  • 1.5kg of Skinless Chicken Thigh or here i used Skinless Chicken Thigh Cutlets
  • 2  Carrots
  • 2  Zucchini
  • 1  Brown Onion
  • 1  Capsicum (i used half a red and half a green for colour)
  • 2  packets/jars of Teriyaki Sauce  I used: 2x 600g packets of Passage Foods,Passage to Japan "Teriyaki Stir Fry Sauce"  gluten free


1. Slice Finely all the vegetables. Use a mandolin if you have one to make them all even.

2. Place all the Chicken into the base of the slow cooker.

3. Tip in all your sliced veggies.

4. Pour over one packet of the Teriyaki Sauce.

5. Mix a little by folding over all the ingredients in the slow cooker. i just used tongs and turned it all over.

6. Replace the lid and cook on High for 4 hours

7. Once an hour, fold it all over so everything is incorporated well.

8. 1/2 hour or so before serving tip in the second packet and stir through.

9. You're now ready to serve!

Serve with some Rice or Noodles and garnish with some finely sliced chives or spring onions

oh yum. i wouldnt have thought to use a stirfry sauce in a slowcooker! you come up with great ideas all the time i dont know how you get them lol
ps. i will try and find these brands of sauce where did you get it from?
