Chocolate Mint Fudge made in the Slow Cooker

 

This dessert is so easy to make and its all done in the Slow Cooker!  Perfect for busy Mums!

Mint Chocolate Fudge

Chocolate Fudge Base

Ingredients

  • 375gm of milk chocolate
  • 1 tin of condensed milk (395gm)
  • 1 Tbs of butter
  • 1 Tbs of vanilla essence

Method

Place all ingredient into the slow cooker. Set the slow cooker to low and leave the lid off. Stir every 10 - 20 minutes for 2 hours. Pour it into a lined tin tray and set in the fridge 

 

Mint Fudge Top

Ingredients

  • 375gm of white chocolate
  • 1 tin of condensed milk (395gm)
  • 1 Tbs of butter
  • 1 Tbs of peppermint essence
  • Green food colouring to desired colour
  • Large pack of Aero Mint Bubbles

Method

Place all ingredient into the slow cooker. Set the slow cooker to low and leave the lid off. Stir every 10 - 20 minutes for 2 hours. Add food colouring then pour it on top of the set chocolate fudge and leave it to cool for 5 minutes before adding the Aero Mint Balls. Once decorated place it back in the fridge to set.

Pull the fudge out and trim off the rough edges before slicing into tasty little squares.

Tips:

You can cook it in the slow cooker on high for 40 minutes, siring every 10 minutes.

You can use cooking chocolate or regular chocolate, they both work the same but there is a slight taste difference. 

Make any flavours you like, decorate with all sorts of chocolate or lollies, the possibilities are endless!

This is amazing! I've never made a dessert in a slow cooker before - admittedly I don't have one but would never have thought to make fudge! Love it!

well this certainly looks amazing! We don't have those candies here in the us, unfortunately, so I'd have to find a substitute or try to buy them online.
