Pancake Recipe - Only 3 Ingredients!

It’s Pancake Day today, so I thought I’d share with you the pancake recipe I’ve been eating my whole life.

It’s as simple as it can get and that’s because it was the first recipe I ever made as a child. My Mum taught me how to make pancakes at a very young age and it gave me a lot of pride to know I could make something so yummy for everyone!

Try this with the kids and enjoy the delicious results together.

1   Egg

1 cup Self-raising flour

1 cup Milk

Mix all your ingredients together in a bowl.

In a hot non-stick pan, pour 1/4 cup of pancake mix into the centre.

When large bubbles form on the surface, flip over. The other side doesn’t take as long, cook until lightly golden.

Family Favourite Topping Options

Lemon and sugar

Maple syrup

Jam & whipped cream

Maple syrup, sliced banana and a scoop of double cream *pictured

I forgot until this morning that it was pancake day, my daughter was asking for them and I said no. Ooops I guess I will be making them tonight, so simple!

I love pancakes and I usually buy the pre-packet bottle mixes where you add water. Thanks for your recipe. So easy to make when you have the ingredients on hand.

All the good toppings, we like golden syrup on ours, when I make them. I use SR flour too :)
