Shell Mobile Fun with the kids.
We always manage to come home with shells everytime we visit the beach or lake. Our lake shells are often big and not pretty but lots of character and always have holes in them. They're always the shells leftover in our sorting or crafts and i never know what else to do with them other than throw them in the sand pit.
Today we made this gigantic mobile with sticks and shells and builders twine. It took a while and entertained them for ages.
All we did was tie some twine on the stick and through the hole on the shells. Then tie the two sticks together.
