Edible Water Bead Play
I love the idea of playing with water beads but i'm really not keen on my toddler popping one in her mouth so here is a great alternative that can be bought at the supermarket!
This makes a gloopy concotion between slime and water beads.
Edible Water Beads Sensory Play
For this we blue colouring and made an Ocean Theme Play
You'll need:
- Water
- Chia seeds (black or white, we used white)
- Food colouring
- Large enough container to hold your gloop :)
How to:
We used 1/2 cup of Chia seeds to 2 cups of water to start with i added about 1/4 teaspoon of colouring. Once that had absorbed in about twenty minutes we added another three cups of water. How much you use and need would depend on the size of the container you used.
