Make bathtime fun and exciting!

Surprising my kids with a sensory bath this evening was a blast.

I filled up the water balloons while the kids were busy building blocks in the next room. I managed to fill 33 before I was interrupted.

I involved my daughter by asking her choose what colours we were going to put in the bath. She chose blue and yellow food colouring. She mixed the two colours together by pushing the water balloons around. She was quite proud that she made green and had to tell Daddy about it straight away.

Mister One and Miss Three had a great time choosing colours, throwing and splashing with them, squeezing and washing all the water balloons.

We've kept the water balloons to use for another game during tomorrows adventures.

How have you brought back the fun into bathing the kids?

What fantastic fun! I'm always on the look out for things that make bathtime more interesting for me, let alone the kids! Finger painting in cheap shaving cream on the walls is fun too :)
