GIVEAWAY HAS CLOSED - THANK YOU!

All my kids love playing with the leftovers of Fabric.

Fabric Scraps are great fun, we make patterns, dress dollies, wrap them around things and often there is glue and paper involved for a beautiful collage. Sometimes we have a project in mind.

This week i have my four year old niece.staying and we made some Bunny Masks using just card and fabric scraps.  She loved picking the colours, using the scissors and creating her masterpiece. Great sensory fun play.

Speaking of Beautiful Bunnies!!

If I could sew one thing perfectly it would be my sons little athletics top. Every year we get 3 new patches to sew and every year I fail miserably!

This is random but I really need a waterproof treadmill cover. I don't want to fold up my treadmill as I try to use it most days. It sits perfectly on the deck, but on the farm it does get quite dusty and when it ever rains (very rare) I'm worried it could get wet and kill the electrics in it. I think a homemade cover with some very 'on trend' fabric would look awesome. I am only a beginner sewer though so...... would need some guidance ;)

If I could sew one thing perfectly it would be those gorgeous handmade skirts for Miss M! No matter how many times I try the elastic is just too tight!

I'd love to sew a dress for my no-so-standard figure and get it right without trying on and altering a million times.
+2 # Declutterbug 2014-03-15 15:16
By the way, if I could sew something perfectly, I'd have another crack at my cesarian scar... I'd work in decorative features... A flourish and some swirls, I think

So cute! If I could sew exceptionally well, I would make myself a beautiful coat! I always see stunning coats in magazines and stores but they are always the top dollar ones. I'd love to be able to sew myself something stunning. I have a brain filled with the ideals of pinterest but the skill of a toothbrush!

Oh goodness that bunny is just too freakin' cute! I love it.
Hmm, if I could sew something perfectly it would be a beautiful formal dress so I have something unique and elegant to wear to special events! (The closest I'll ever come is a maxi dress I'd say, and it will be less than perfect)

I'd love to be able to sew a quilt with my children's clothes from when they were little were included. Too afraid to try yet.

Oh I'm in love with this bunny. It's almost more appealing than the chocolate goodies - and that's saying something. Easter has got to be my favourite festive opportunity. It's like: eat chocolate for breakfast and not be judged. Winning!

If I could sew something beautifully, anything at all, I wish I could sew unique duvet covers for all the children so they can keep forever and give to their own kids. xx

I love that bunny I wish I could sew but failed sewing at school
+1 # Suzanne Roach 2014-03-19 15:52
I I could sew one thing perfectly, it would be a quilt for my little one, with all different kinds of fabric and different colors, but it will still look amazing and that's what I am normally worried about.
+2 # Nicole White 2014-03-20 00:44

There is a saying “You need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star”,

I’ve given birth to “three” dancing stars so far!

I yearn to sew their yearly dance costumes without flaw,

I have lots of bits and bobs in my oversized sewing drawer,

Yet their ballerina costumes require intricate detail,

I’ve tried 4 years in a row and still manage to fail!

Good Grief! That is the cutest basket I've ever seen!!!
I can't sew to save my life, but if I could I would want to sew the perfect jeans. I can never find a pair to fit my body right!
