Gaia skincare range giveaway

Skin Care and a Giveaway with GAIA - GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED

I used to be pretty good at looking after myself and then i had kids

Skin Care Range for Me and a Giveaway for you

Since having kids i've used the same cleanser and moisturisers ... for years!  Not because i love them although i guess i used to but i use them just out of habit; i know what i'm getting in the small amount of time i have to use them.  I had been meaning to look into trying something else but its just one of those things i just never seem to get around to.

Then I was gifted some GAIA products. Do you know them?  I didn’t actually know they did anything other than baby products.  I have used them now for a couple of months and i asked GAIA if they would be so kind as to let me share some products with one of my readers.  You know when you find a great something you just want to tell someone about it.

gaia baby hair conditioning detangler

Speaking of Baby Products i have to share with you the GAIA Baby Conditioning Detangler. Here on the right is a picture of my two year olds hair when she wakes, i'm not sure what she does in bed but everyday i look at this and think urgh i have to brush that.  She hated it and i hated doing it, until i discovered this stuff!  Within minutes she has beautiful hair - knot free and neither of us are crying or cranky!   Love this product.

So the GAIA products i have tried on me i have really enjoyed too. They have all been great for my sensitive skin, they smell nice, they are easy to use and i will be buying them from now on.

GAIA are certified Organic. I like knowing what the ingredients are compared to the products i used previously with all the chemical ingredients i can't even say.  I am enjoying the smell and i find even the feel of them feels cleaner and well.... better.

You can read all about their products on the GAIA website but i just wanted to share the ones i have been trying and really like.

The Creamy Cleanser. I'm not a fan of creamy cleansers usually but this one is more like a thin cream than a thick cream.  Its easy to apply and it does feel clean and not greasy when i'm done. essential!

The Facial Moisturiser is light and i have been using it everyday. Its great to use under my foundation. It doesnt feel greasy and i have felt an improvement in the condition of my skin.

The Intensive Moisturiser i have been using as a night cream.  When i'm not going to be wearing makeup like night time or days without make up i have been using the intensive moisturiser.  This has been fabulous on my skin.  It makes my skin feel soft and looked after.   I think i may have been neglecting my face for a while now and it is loving this cream. I've also been using it on my neck and delocotage.

The Refreshing Toner. Do you use a Toner?  I've never used a Toner.  I've received them as bonuses in make up purchases but i dont think i've ever really used one.  I use this everyday.  I'm not sure what you are really supposed to do with it but i have been using it on a hot day as a little spritzer refresher. I also use it after i have showered after the Gym before i put on my moisturiser.  Its a lovely little spray i can see me using all the time in Summer when i just want to refresh.   This will be great to take on holidays, great for flights and long car trips.  I wouldnt have bought this so i am glad i received this one.

The Lavender and Frankincense Body Moisturiser.  I have used this alot because i love the smell, beautiful lavender but its not overpowering at all. I dont smell like a granny.  I find it moisturises well,  i have been using it on my hands, arms and legs after a long day and find it works well.

Now as i mentioned GAIA were very nice in letting me share some with one of my readers,They are giving a Skin and Body Pack, which is the collection you see below.  i have been so happy with these products and i would never have got around to buying them myself so i would love someone else to try them and hopefully they will love them as much as me.

Body moisturiser is the one thing in my current skin care range that i want to change. I am looking forward to try natural products which are free from chemicals and are gentle for the skin.

My moisturiser - it feels too heavy for summer.

Oh I did not know there was an adult collection in this range! I love their baby products. If I were going to change anything in my routine, it would be to remember to actually use my toner everyday! Toner cleans dead skin cells off your face and preps you for making your moisturiser sink in. Sounds nice to be able to spritz theirs onto overheated skin! Sure it smells lovely too!

Wow, I had NO IDEA they made products for women too! I've always bought the baby products for all of my families, and always pop them into hammer baskets as gifts for new mums (and they love it) but seriously, no fricken idea. Love it! I'm not a mum, but my skin care regime is pretty basic too. I just love my sleep too much and find myself chucking on something basic in 2 seconds in front of the mirror before I head out the door to the kiddies. At the moment I'm still using foundation that I bought in 2009. Yep that's right! At the time I loved it, so I figured I'd buy an entire box in bulk so that I could always be able to have the product I love. Now I'm not sure I love it anymore but I've still got half a box left..

I have never used GAIA product before, but I am definitely interested after reading this. The thing I would love to change about my skin care routine is using toner, at this point in time it just doesn't happen. I always seem to be "too busy" to take the extra step. I really like that this toner comes in a spray bottle thus making it super easy to spray, wipe, and go and would keep my face feeling fresh all day long!
Thanks for sharing this great giveaway!

My facial scrub! I purchased a different brand to 'change things up' and unfortunately it hasn't been very gentle on my skin, leaving me with a red lumpy rash ALL OVER my face.

I'm using a peppermint foot scrub I received as a gift, but I think my skin is allergic to something in the scrub, because my feet feel tingly and itchy afterwards! Something gentler perhaps? Does Gaia have foot scrubs? :)

My toner, as I've just realised that it's out of date! Obviously it's not a good one as I haven't been using it. Winning the Gaia products however would ensure that I never forgot to use it.

I am currently using a moisturiser that I found at the back of my bathroom cupboard as the one I used to use has been discontinued in stores. The moisturiser smells like Play Doh and is thick and yuk. Actually, come to think of it, it is probably expired. So I am using an out-of-date, stinky moisturiser. Um, yes, I think I need to change that. Pretty soon too...

I want to find a body moisturiser that really leaves your skin super hydrated. They just seem to soak in and disappear, never to really make any impact at all.

Oh I love Gaia products! Have been using them for my babies since Day 1 but like yourself I did not know they have some for mums too! I would love to find a good facial moisturiser that works well with the summer hot weather that's just around the corner. My current moisturiser leaves the skin feeling too oily and sticky and that is not how I want to feel on a hot summery day!

Thanks for looking after your readers and hosting this great giveaway!
